24 square root of 5. factor of 180 which is a perfect square is 36 and the other is 5. since 36 is also a perfect square you can extract it out. so equation becomes 4x6 sq. root 5 =24 square root of 5.

First, you find the largest perfect square that is a factor of 180. This website is great for that ( http://www.mathwarehouse.com/arithmetic/numbers/list-of-perfect-squares.php). Since 36 is the highest perfect square that goes in 180 you use that and can rewrite the equation as 4 * √36 * √5 and then simplify this to 4 * 6 √5 and then one last time to 24 √5
