a certain recipe requires 3/2 cups of sugar an makes 2 dozen cookies. (1 dozen = 12). quantity a = the amount of sugar required for the same recipe to make 30 cookies. quanity B = 2 cups

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

You can either use propertionality here or Unitary Method. So they say that 1.5 cups gives 24 cookies. Thus more cups would give use more cookies right? So we say that they are Directly Proportional. Do you know the two types of proportionalitites btw? :)
