so that gives us
8x=18!
OpenStudy (anonymous):
doh
OpenStudy (uri):
x-4y=10
8x+4y=8
======
9x=18
OpenStudy (uri):
x + 8x =9x
OpenStudy (uri):
so 18 divide by 9 is 2

gotcha! I couldn't figue out how you got 9x=18
and the x-4y=10
the x has no number so it's
1x
1x+8x=9
OpenStudy (uri):
x=2
Now you know how to solve for y
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Thanks uri!
I feel totally dumb! Thanks for staying patient. Or pretending you are ;P
OpenStudy (uri):
I was kinda sad..:c but now all rightt :)
OpenStudy (uri):
