OK, This is a strange question but... Can I use elimination method instead of substitution method? I've been using it [elimination instead of substitution] , and it seems to work out OK. But is there any real reason I need to *perfect* using the sub method?

hero (hero):

So that you'll know how to use it when asked to do. Sometimes it may be more convenient to use the substitution method than elimination method.

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

depends on the scenario, the substitution might work faster than the elimination I prefer elimination, but would use substitution it the system is simple enough

Thanks :) I prefer the elimination method but I suppose @Hero is right, learn it so you can do it if you HAVE to :)
