I know I need to times the second equation that way I can cancel out the Y's but what do I times it by?

maybe try multiplying the FIRST equation by -2... hmm? :)

so that gives me -10x-14y=-20 3x+14y=6 --------- -7x=-14 -14/-7= 2x! thanks :D
