How do you write an equation based on a set of ordered pairs if the relation is linear? (-12,7), (4,-5), (12,-11)

Find the equation, y=mx + b, substitute x=-12 and y = 7 and x=4 and y=-5 to get two equations with two unknowns. Solve for the unknowns, m and b.
