how do i graph y=x+2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Create a table for x values to retireve your y values. Example: \[y=(1)+2 = 3\]\[y= (2)+2 = 4\] So now we have two sets of coordinates: (1,3) and (2,4) Keep adding more values to x to get a better representation of the graph.

so do i just graph the coordinates (1,3) and (2,4)?

Keep going until you feel satisfied with how many points you plot. |dw:1376963564429:dw|

Your graph would look like this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikibooks/en/0/0a/Y_equals_x_plus_2.PNG
