Trapezoid 1 and 8 are a reflection of each other. If I translate(shift/slide) 1 to 8 they match. If I rotate one it will be opposite and would not match.

That makes more sense... i looked at it if it kept rotating then it would eventually be in the same position as trapezoid 8 although it seems as if i didn't look at is right

If we rotate 1 it would end up in the position of 7.
