Can anyone help me find the LCD that will eliminate the fractions in the equation, x/2+4/5=9/12

Directrix (directrix):

Your individual denominators are 2, 5, and 12. 2 is prime. 5 is prime. 12 factors as 2*2*3 So your LCD will be whatever is the product of 2 times 5 times 6. What is that?

Can you help me find the Lcd for the equation x/2+2/8=1/4?

Directrix (directrix):

We've done several together. Tell me what you think this one is. And, then we will compare answers? Okay?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 70

Directrix (directrix):

That is not the least one. What is the product of 2 and 4? I think that answer will be the LCD. @jenny1
