Use basic identities to simplify the expression. cscѲcotѲ/secѲ

OpenStudy (debbieg):

Convert all to sines/cosines.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sec2θ cot2θ csc2θ 1

OpenStudy (debbieg):

\[\frac{ cscxcotx }{ secx }=\frac{ \frac{ 1 }{sinx }\frac{ cosx }{sinx } }{ \frac{ 1 }{ cosx } }\]and simplify.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1?

OpenStudy (debbieg):

How would you arrive at 1? Look at my post above.

OpenStudy (debbieg):

What do you get when you simplify? Take the denominator fraction out and invert and multiply in the numerator....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cot2θ

OpenStudy (debbieg):

There ya go. :) well done!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks for that explanation, helped me very much sir.

OpenStudy (debbieg):

You're welcome, but I'm no "sir"... LOL :)
