Find all solutions of the equation.

I think I have narrowed it down to either B or C.

OpenStudy (debbieg):

I agree, it's either B or C. :) For each of the "base" solutions, pi/4 and 3pi/4, in B you get a solution pi units later; in C you get a solution 2pi units later. Which one should it be?

OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):

I think it's C.

OpenStudy (debbieg):

Right - because the period of the function is 2pi. So you want to pick up each co-terminal solution. In B, you would get solutions in all 4 quadrants, which can't be since the sine value in the equation is positive (so only solutions in Q1 and Q2).

OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):

Thanks
