Factor by grouping: 3x^3-2^x2-6x+4 I've already gotten as far as x^2(3x-2) - 2(3x+4) What are the next steps?

OpenStudy (debbieg):

Did you check your factoring with multiplication? Especially the 2nd grouping. ;)

OpenStudy (debbieg):

Always... always.... ALWAYS.... CHECK FACTORING WITH MULTIPLICATION. Just sayin. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the correct factoring is x2(3x-2) -2(3x-2) common factor will then be (3x-2) It will then be (3x-2)(x2-2)
