My brother needs help on this question..... Is there any angle that has positive sine and negative cosine? is there any angle that has angle sine and positive cosine?

OpenStudy (kainui):

Yes to both.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

check the unit circle, y-coordinate will be the sine and x-coordinate will be the cosine.. http://i.stack.imgur.com/r8uHr.gif

OpenStudy (debbieg):

assuming the last "angle" should be "negative"...? Yes, loads of them. Sine is positive on quadrant 1 and 2 (in degrees, from 0 to 180) and negative in quad 3 and quad 4. Cosine is positive in quad 1 and quad 4, negative in Q2 and Q3.

remember A Smart Trig Class? http://www.ms.uky.edu/~lee/ma310/tools/node14.html

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Remember: cosine is like x, sine is like y
