What property of real numbers is illustrated by this equation? [equation posted below here, thx] A. Distributive Property B. Associative Property of Multiplication C. Commutative Property of Multiplication D. Associative Property of Addition
\[2(\sqrt{8}\times7)=(2 \sqrt{8})\times7\]
Welcome to Open Study... Do you have any ideas?
maybe the distributive property?
Why would you say that?
Try replacing each number with a letter and see if it looks familiar?
Let $$a=2$$$$b=\sqrt8$$$$c=7$$
$$\Huge a(bc)=(ab)c$$
When you multiply any three real numbers the grouping (or association) of the numbers does not affect the result.
is it the associative property of multiplication? sorry i took so long, the internet service is quite bad here :(
Yes.
thank you so much and im really sorry about the internet :c
