What is one way to revise for word choice?

You could go back through a writing and try to eliminate the easy baby vocab and replace it with more complicated words that aren't as common to really make the piece stand out.

I always google/search the "word" that you are trying to substitute followed by "thesaurus". For example, "behaviour thesaurus". I then choose a more suitable word to substitute... for example... if you wanted to say something like "his behaviour, and the manner in which he carried himself was woeful"..... in this instance was you could replace this with "demeanour" which in my belief is a better substitute for "behaviour". I hope this helps!!!
