Hello. I'm watching the first video and keep hearing reference to "recitations". I am not familiar with those and am having trouble figuring out from context what they are. I'd appreciate more information. Thanks!

the recitations are held by the grad student t/a's for smaller groups of students - they are like study groups, going over the results of problem sets and q&a for lecture topics.
the OCW 6.00sc 2011 material has videos of the recitations.

There is 1 recitation per week so after lecture 2 you should see the first recitation.
