I am 12 years old. can someone please help me solve:
1 11/15 divided by 1 19/20? The answer book says 8/9 but I can't seem to get the answer on my own. Thanks.

wrong....let me tell you how

1 11/15 -- take the whole number (1) and multiply it by the denominator (15) then add that to the numerator (11) and then put that answer over the original denominator (15). So that leaves us with 26/15.

1 19/20 -- take the whole number (1) and multiply it by the denominator (20) then add that to the numerator (19), then put that over the original denominator (20). So now we have 39/20.
