Sorry, sloppy drawing

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

Have you learned about special kinds of triangles? Hint: This is a 30 60 90 triangle. The sides of such a triangle are always particular multiples of one another.

Can you help walk me through it? I have no idea what to do.

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

I made a video which covers this. If you understand similar triangles, then this becomes an easy problem. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFmetfmpwXM&list=PL9FE48FF0B7A3E3F4&index=2 At 3:18 you can see the ratios of the sides of any given 30 60 90 triangle. Hope this helps.
