round 0.998 to two decimal places

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.00 Look at the number after the second decimal place. Since 8>5, you round the 9 an the second decimal place up. But 9 goes to 10, so you have to add 1 to the first 9, which also goes to 10, so you add 1 to the first digit. So you get 1.00. (Do not get rid of the zeros!)
