The midpoint between the points \((x_1,y_1)\) and \((x_2,y_2)\) is \[(\frac{x_1+x_2}{2},\frac{y_1+y_2}{2})\]. Does that help? @ayeejessica
im kinda lost @ajprincess
as u can see in stead of the point \((x_1,y_1)\) u have (3,5). so \(x_1=3\) \(y_1=5\) similarly instead of \((x_2,y_2)\) u hav (1,-8). so \(x_2=1\) \(y_2=-8\) nw does this help?
|dw:1377150766094:dw| Put this in the formula and solve it..like @ajprincess said.
