I make minimum wage at McDonalds lol. I think the best thing you could do for atleast a month or 2 is save every dime you make and dont touch it because you will need it later like for a car. Trust me I have made almost $4000 in the past 3 months and I am broke.

When I was in grad school I was making less than minimum wage. I had an excel spreadsheet where I kept track of my expenses (food, rent, utilities, gas for my car, insurance, phone, etc.) as well as my limited income (after taxes). I made sure to stay on budget whenever possible. I went so far as keeping receipts from when I would buy groceries to make sure I wasn't going over my limits.
