OpenStudy (debbieg):

Is there an easy way to copy the LaTex code from one post into another? I keep wishing I could open or "edit" a post, so that I could c&p the code into a post further down the discussion to show the next step. But unless I remember to copy it to my clipboard BEFORE I post, I end up having to re-do the whole thing.

OpenStudy (ja1):

nope, just keep a notepad somewhere with various latex codes around.

thomaster (thomaster):

Actually there is a way... ( @JA1 ) Right click on the latex and select Show math as > TeX commands It'll show the code

thomaster (thomaster):

Try it: \(\Huge\LaTeX\)

thomaster (thomaster):

Only thing you have to do is copy that code and put it between `\( and \)`

OpenStudy (debbieg):

\(\Huge\LaTeX\) Oh my. That is SO good to know. Can also click "equation" and then just paste it into the equation editor and go from there. Sometimes I prefer that :) \[\Huge\LaTeX\] Thanks @thomaster !

thomaster (thomaster):

Visit the \(\LaTeX\) section for more cool tricks \(\huge\ddot\smile\)

OpenStudy (debbieg):

How do I find the Latex section?

thomaster (thomaster):

\(\large\sf\color{blue}{\href{/study#/groups/LaTeX%20Practicing!%20%3A)}{\underline{>>Click\ Here<<}}}\)

OpenStudy (debbieg):

OK, thanks - that got me there, but how would I have found that? I don't see sub-categories here.....? What am I missing, lol? (Help me learn, don't just give me the answer! :P hehe)

thomaster (thomaster):

Click on Find more Subject on top of the screen and find the section would also work :)

OpenStudy (debbieg):

ah-HA!! Got it! I've never clicked that before... lol! :) I only stumbled into this "feedback" area. \(\huge thanks!\)

OpenStudy (ja1):

@thomaster mind = blown

OpenStudy (ja1):

I didn't even know LaTeX had a menu option xD
