What is f(-2) for f(x) =x^2 +3x -5 ?

OpenStudy (deadshot):

it would be -7, right?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

instead of f being composed of x, we want to know what f is when it is composed of -2 f(x) =x^2 +3x -5 f(-2) =(-2)^2 +3(-2) -5

OpenStudy (amistre64):

-7 is correct

OpenStudy (deadshot):

Thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah that is right
