Also note that there is 3 feet in a yard hence 2 yard is 6 feet. There is 12 inches in a feet so we have that 2 yards = 72 inches. Now you have the base of the isosceles triangle as 1 inch and the height as 72 inches. It's important to have all lengths as the same unit..
