Someone please help

\[\frac{ x ^{2}-12x+20 }{ x-10 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ (x-2)(x-10) }{ (x-10) }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it would be just x-10 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x-2 i believe.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the two (x-10)s cancel each other out.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x ^{2}+(a+b)+ab \rightarrow (x+a)(x+b)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x-2 is the correct answer :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 14-7x }{ x-2 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-7(x-2) (x-2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the answer would be -7 :)
