What are two big questions raised by biomedical ethics? @Frostbite
Hmmm. Good question. I suppose it is how far we may go in the name of science. For example if we should allow DNA sequencing all people and thereby get to see if there are any chance of getting a special disorder later in life -> making the price of insurance higher.
What do you think?
Can we alter the genetics of an unborn fetus to match gender and physical preferences? Will altering DNA to avoid certain diseases alter the futures population growth and health?
Also some good ones.
Very good ones indeed. I personally also like the DNA sequencing one, there are many good things and likewise bad things.
Try imagine this: "Designer medication" a drug made specifically for you, based on your DNA sequence into protein translation?
