Why can't I open IMVU on my Acer Chromebook?

Delete it from your CPU and download it again. The file may be corrupted or your version outdated.

Because it is a Chrome Book, it is running the Google Chrome OS. That means any application you download must be designed to run on Chrome OS. Now, this is LINUX based, so if it is LINUX software, you might be able to get it to work. However, Chrome OS is heavily modified for cloud based applications only, so that may make it more tricky than you might expect. In other words, this may very well be impossible to do.
