How could you tell if the powder was salt, sugar, flour, or baking soda?

Try tasting them. All of those are safe to taste.

Salt- dissolves in water Sugar, flour- dissolves in alcohol Im not sure about baking soda

uhm wont baking soda fizz in the presence of a weak acid like vinigar

@oOKawaiiOo Since when does sugar dissolves in alcohol? 0.o Also I don't think flour dissolves in alcohol, nor in water. I think tasting is the best way for these 4.
