I have a macbook, so i just use imovie. Seems easy to me, and never forget photoshop; its your friend a lot of the time haha :P

Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier Pro are good professionalish editing software, but if your making it animated you need other programs to make the animation but those I mentioned are good to then make it a video, and Vegas is good for animated videos but that's a Hollywood movie type program (It's expensive as can be).

Other free programs could do too, this would include animating it blender
( http://www.blender.org/ ) and compiling the video with something like Windows Movie Maker 2012/Windows Movie Maker 7 (Windows Only!) or Lightworks ( http://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=45&Itemid=184 ) Registration is required!

LOL it's easy, just look up on youtube how to animate using blender and then compiling it, I myself have After Effects and Premier Pro so all I need is to animate it or get clips for it :)
