OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

Is anything else given? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They tell us A is 32 do they tell us anything else? @SunshineGirl

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well to find the measure of one angle we need to know the other two sides, do they say anything about the sides like are any sides equal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh! Sorry! gosh i forgot. C=(4x+7) and B=(11x-9)

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

Alright Great ! So now all you need to do is use The Angle sum property of the triangle that tells us that ALL ANGLES IN A TRIANGLE SUM UP TO 180' SO C+B+A = 180 OR (4x+7)+(11x-9)+(32) = 180! Get the value of x and then put it in B=11x-9 Understood? :)

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

And you'd get the value of CBA then! :) Getting me? :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No actually, I'm having a hard time following that. Sorry I'm new to geometry. How do I get the value of x?

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

Alright do you know what the angle sum property of a triangle is? :)

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

|dw:1377255428209:dw| Getting this? :)

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

@SunshineGirl ? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is there a formula for solving the equation? :/

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

Not quite! First tell me are you understanding me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not at all actually. Sorry i have a hard time with numbers. I got a 98% average in college level english but when it comes to math I don't understand anything.

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

Chill out! OS will hep you on that! Alright so do you know the total sum of the angles in quadrilaterals like squares, rhombuses, parrallelograms etc?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I only understand when there's a simple formula involved.

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

Try never to get so accustomed with formulas they may help for a while but they aren't of much help in the long run! Try getting the concept! What do you want me to teach you now? Formula~or~The Cocept here? :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright well thank you for your time but I'm completely lost. I'll just review my textbook i suppose. I'll give you best response for your time.

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

I really don't mind helping you! Alright Good luck! But remember Concept, not formula! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That doesn't work for me. I can't comprehend concepts.

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

Try for a while maybe? :D Chill out on that then! Okay even if you learn formulae Try understanding them alright? :D
