Someone who knows what they are doing please help me and don't confuse me more.. Thanks What are the solutions to the following system of equations? y = x2 + 12x + 30 8x − y = 10 (−4, −2) and (2, 5) (−2, −4) and (2, 5) (−2, −4) and (5, 2) No Real Solutions

OpenStudy (ankit042):

do you know how to proceed?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No..

OpenStudy (ankit042):

K we will use substitution method, you can replace value of y from the first equation to the second. after this we will get a quadratic equation. You can solve that to get value of x

Sorry this girl confused the pellet outta me in the last one and I don't no what im doing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Id rather just google the answers and actually get an answer at this point then just have help and learn on open study.. this sucks

OpenStudy (debbieg):

do you want to learn how to do the problem, @raebaby420 ? Or are you just looking for someone to tell you the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

AT THIS POINT IM LOOKING FOR AN ANSWER BECAUSE IVE BEEN WORKING ON THE SAME PROBLEM FOR ABOUT 30 mins now!

OpenStudy (debbieg):

OK, then you should do that. This is a site where you can come to learn something. Just handing you the answers does not allow you to learn a thing, and as you advance in your math classes, you will only be MORE lost since you won't have the prerequisite skills.
