Need helps solving polynomial inequalities!!!!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anyone!! @Nurali

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

Question? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which inequalities? where is question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x(x+2) greater than equal to 3

OpenStudy (ankit042):

4x(x+2) >3 proceed by subtracting 3 from both sides you will get 4x^2+8x -3 >0 now factorize it to proceed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In the easy polynomial equations, they all start off equaling 0. Is the goal to get the harder ones to equal 0 when they dont start off that way??

@ankit042

?

OpenStudy (ankit042):

I didn't get your previous comment. In this question our goal is to find solution to 4x^2+8x -3 >=0 solve value of 4x^2+8x -3=0 then draw number line to get answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do I solve it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ankit042

OpenStudy (ankit042):

using th quadratic equation formula http://www.purplemath.com/modules/solvquad4.htm
