How can I get y=sinx over to an equation starting with x= ?

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

x = sin inverse y :) Understood? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it's x=1/(siny) or x=sin(1/y) or x=siny^-1 ?

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

Not quite! sin inverse is something different altogther! It's like if sin 30 = 1/2 then 30 = sin^-1(1/2) Got it? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wow! :) Thanks! Will do some more research on it :)

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):
