OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you help me out step by step?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says to find the sum of -2n + 3 for n = 4 to n = 7. you'll want to add the sum for n = 4,5,6,7 (-2)(4) + 3 + (-2)(5) + 3 + (-2)(6) + 3 + (-2)(7) + 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

= -8 + 3 -10 + 3 - 12 + 3 - 14 + 3 = -32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

∑[n=4,7,-2n+3] = -32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

glad i could help
