This is how we expand out a binomial: \[\large (x+y)^5=ax^5y^0+bx^4y^1+cx^3y^2+dx^2y^3+ex^1y^4+fx^0y^5\] See how the powers on x count DOWN as we move to the right, and the powers on y count UP til we reach 5. a, b, c, d, e, and f are the coefficients that we need to get from Pascal's Triangle.
