I would say more women are finding jobs so there is less time to have kids and it would be hard for them since kids need a lot of attention. Nowadays, everyone is marrying at around late 20s and 30s. There are more DINKs now-Double income, no kids. Many people think they are better off taking care of kids on their own. There is a high percentage of working moms now because they allwant to work and make their own money. Many of them are even competing with men for jobs too.
