i was wondering if it meant all columns are added to the jth column or is it just one particular column say the ith column?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i would be able to do it if the ith column was just added, but i'm not sure how you would do it if all columns were added to the jth column

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is a linear combination of all other columns that is added to it. linear combo is Ac1 + Bc2 + Cc3 + ... whehere A, B and C are undetermined coefficients

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where j>i and j<i ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya. where j =/= i making it a combo of all columns except j

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm.
