There's a quick and easy way to do this... when you know the slope $\large \color{blue}m$ of a line as well a point  $\large (\color{red}a \ , \ \color{green}b)$ where it passes, the equation of the line with that slope and passing through that point is 
$$\Large y = \color{blue}{m}(x-\color{red}a)+ \color{green}b$$
