Which of the following sets is equal to {1, 2, 3, ...}? {x | x E R, x > 1} {x | x E R, x ≥ 1} {x | x E N, x ≥ 1} either b or c im not shure tho

OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):

c

OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):

real numbers include negative, zero and positive numbers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First of all, they are integers, more specifically natural numbers. Second, it includes 1 as well, so it should have 'N' and 'Greater than or equal to 1'. => Option three.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You should be able to figure this out by looking at the choices. The first choice says x > 1 Would that include the first element of the set ? The second choice says "from the set of Reals" Does the set of Reals include only integers ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

{x|x: N, x>=1} Because if x :R then 1.5, 8/7,...... should have exist but here we don't see these, we just see 1,2,3,......
