Find the GCF of 15 and 27

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First off, do you know what a gcf is? if u do just list them and see what they have in common like this: 1 * 15 3 * 5 1 * 27 3 * 9 Do they have anything in common?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Whatever they both have in common would be your GCF (greatest common factor)

So in this case they both have a 3 in common so the GCF is 3.

So THATS what GCF means!
