the measures of an angle and its complement differ by 22 degrees what are the measures of the angle? how can you algebraically show that the two angle measures differ by 22 degrees?
Hello @kayakp Welcome to Openstudy :) Do you know what a complement angle is?
yes a complement angle is equal to 90 degrees
@Luigi0210
I would say make an equation.
@Luigi0210 i know but i dont know how to represent that the two angles differ by 22 like i have 90=a+b but that doesnt help me figure out the values
Well it says one has a difference of 22 so: x+(x-22)=90
@Luigi0210 shouldnt there be two different variable because there are two diffrent values i still can't solve that
Nope, they're the same value. One just has a difference of 22.
@Luigi0210 so how am i gonna solve that? distribute then solve?
@Luigi0210 i figured it out thank you!
You're Welcome :) And sorry for not replying earlier, I had something to do.
