OpenStudy (luigi0210):

That's why you never trust the answers people give you. It'd be better to learn the process and do it on your own wouldn't you agree?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4/n=-8 4=-8n 4/-8=n 1/-2=n n=0,5 are you agree?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-0,5

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

See, you did it right on your own

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Wait, no you still messed up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In the U.S. we would right that answer as -0.5 Do you use a comma instead of a decimal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right should be write - sorry.

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

\[\frac{4}{n}=-8\] So just multiply by 1/4 and what do you get? \[\frac{4}{n}*\frac{1}{4}=-8*\frac{1}{4}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Luigi0210 Same answer, just more steps. \(\dfrac{1}{n} = \dfrac{-8}{4}\) Cross multiply to get \(-8n=4\) Then divide by -8 to get n=-0.5
