OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is normalization condition why is it used in quantum mechanics

OpenStudy (abb0t):

\[\int\limits |\psi |^2dx=1\] is the normalization, right? What you're basically saying is that a wave function,\(|\psi|^2\) has to be normalized so that it describes a real particle. The probability that the particle will occupy a space must equal 1, essentially meaning a 100% chance of existence.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you i have lot of doubt in the wave function ,how is express in mathematics ? and normalization condition?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

The wave function may represent something else in mathematics, just as it does in physics.
