What is the difference between higher concentration and lower concentration?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

high concentration, or hypertonic, means that there is a high amount of salt (or fluid) inside a body (or cell). low concentration, or hypotonic, means that there is a small amount of some salt (or fluid) inside a body (or cell). A type of regulation of this type of low/high concentration is known as \(osmosis\). Fluid (or salt), or some molecule, pass through a semipermeable membrane from a less concentrated solution into a more concentrated one.
