How do you write ''F is the set of positive intergers less than 7'' in roster form? How do you write Fin set-builder form?

zepdrix (zepdrix):

I think this is what they mean by roster form, right? \[\Large F=\{1,2,3,4,5,6\}\] Understand why we only include those numbers?

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Set-builder notation is a little tricky. This is probably how I would write it. \[\Large F=\left\{x\;|\;x\in\mathbb{N},\;x<7\right\}\]

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Which reads: `F` `is the set of values x` `such that` `x is a natural number` `and` `x is less than 7`. The natural numbers are the `positive integers`.
