can someone help me understand proofs,how to write them and solve them( one example problem id like step by step help with but not the answer because it is on my test and i want to be able to do them by myself)

Use a paragraph proof to prove the same-side interior angles theorem. Given: segment A B is parallel to segment C D. Prove: Same-side interior angles are supplementary

proof- since segment A B is parallel to segment cd. Then segment cd and ab are supplementary. same side interior angles.. well, manly jus supplementary angles add up to 180 degrees. -created with a transversal segment AB and segment CD are parallel. - So this proof is True.. (: [ I hope this helps??????
