What is the difference between the points (3root5,0) and (6root5,4)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(3\sqrt{5},0) and (6\sqrt{5},4)\]

OpenStudy (debbieg):

You mean the distance between them? Just use the distance formula.

OpenStudy (debbieg):

\[d=\sqrt{(X_{1}+X_{2})^{2}+(Y_{1}+Y_{2})^{2}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@DebbieG Thanks! I used the distance formula \[d= \sqrt{(x_{2}-x_{1})^{2}+(y _{2}-y_{1})^{2}} \]

OpenStudy (debbieg):

Whoops... lol... yeah, those should be differences! The irony is I didn't want to type it all so I searched to find it in a post and just copied the code, LOL :) Glad you didn't use what I posted! :)

Thats ok, thanks a lot for helping! :)
