The position of an object at time t is given by s(t) = -1 - 13t. Find the instantaneous velocity at t = 8 by finding the derivative.

@aaaaalicia , how would you find the derivative of s(t)?
I think somehow I am suppose to use f(x+h)-f(x)/h
I've got no clue how to turn it around to fit that set up LOL
The question just says to find the derivative and find the velocity at time t=8. That's pretty much all you need to do.

So the derivative of s(t)=-1-13t is s'(t)=-13 because the derivative of a number is 0 and of a variable is the coefficient.
