Ive worked out a to be 3.4km and b to be 6.3km but am having trouble with c

Your answer is in parts a) and b).  These two, which you have done correctly, can be used with the Pythagorean Theorem to calculate the distance requested in c).

There is a reason why we have prerequisites.  You are allowed to forget NOTHING you have taken before!!  Good work.
