SOLVE D=ABC FOR B

OpenStudy (jackellyn):

You need to divide by AC by both sides to get B alone

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[B=\frac{D}{AC}\]

The previous answers give you what you need. I'm just playing around with this equation tool, so I'll give you a much more verbose answer: D = ABC is the same as ABC = D, right? So then \[\frac{ ABC }{ AC } = \frac{ D }{ AC }\] The 'A's cancel on the right side, and so do the 'C's... this leaves you with the solution above \[B = \frac{ D }{ AC }\] Yeah, that little "Equation" button below the chat text box works pretty good!
